A week or so ago I finally updated my site to Drupal 6.x. I broke a few things in the process and then ran out of time before I could finish up. Last night, I took some time and got things in better shape. I updated some old text and re-arranged a few things. It could probably use more work but it's good enough for now.
One of the major changes is I got rid of the forums. The posts are still there because there's some useful information in them and people might have linked to them. But I removed the link to the forums and access to post in them. Why? Well, time, really. I love helping people and try to be active in Drupal's various support areas. But I also have two modules to finish and my own sites that are getting badly neglected. Plus, much of what gets posted in these forums is support for my two modules which I keep asking people to post in the issue queue anyway.
So I'm simplifying and and going back to just a blog / article site. We'll see how it goes. I closed the forums once before and ended up getting support requests in random comments which annoyed me more. :( Hopefully that won't happen again this time.
