12,000 fish in danger

This has nothing to do with Drupal but I'm trying to help get the word out. Kelly, a member of a Wisconsin forum I'm on runs a fish rescue / breeding business. She ran into bad luck with a scamming contractor and now the electric company is going to shut off her power in 2 days. The 12,000 fish she is currently caring for will all die when this happens. If you love fish or just want to help out, you can find her story here:

If you know any place you could post this, please spread the word. I know this is last minute but I've too busy to visit the forum lately and just found out. :(

Thanks,

Michelle

Edit: I put it up on reddit.com: http://reddit.com/info/6fsel/comments Go vote it up!

Update: She actually has until the 18th, not the 15th, so there's still time to help!

Hope it helps

Hi Michelle

I just donated 100 $ to your friend. I hope it saves her fishes lifes!

Thanks!

I know I said thanks on IRC but I wanted to say thanks here, too. If anyone else wants to help Kelly out, she still needs $400 just to get the power company to give her a payment plan. She actually has until the 18th, not the 15th, so there's still time to save those fish!

Fish Rescue dream and 12,000 fish needs help

It sounds like Kelly is in a really bad spot and all because she is apparently a very humane individual who cares deeply about her fish rescue, tried to become more energy efficient and was taken advantage of by someone with no scruples. Hopefully her story will reach enough kind hearted people who will generously donate and give her enough time to resolve the problems. Donating will also help her family there as well. WISCONSIN just had snow again this past week end and it IS COLD!

GOOD LUCK, KELLY!
