Taking a break
I know this is bad timing given that I've just released two unfinished modules and have a ton of support requests backlogged. But I'm getting overwhelmed with everything. I keep turning down paid work to work on advforum and advprofile for free because I simply don't have enough time for everything on top of being a full time mom. I have one client that's been very patiently waiting while I keep putting his site on hold for these projects. But I've decided I need to pull back and regroup for a bit. The code is out there for people to use and it's a very good headstart over doing it all yourself. No, they're not done, and I will come back to them but I need to catch up on other things first.
So I'm officially taking a break from community work for a short time. Not long, probably less than a week, but it will give me some breathing room. In the mean time, please try to help each other. Those of you who are farther along, check the forums and issue queues and see if you can help someone else.
Thanks,
Michelle

I can personally say that you have been a huge help to me so you deserve the break. I don't do anywhere near as much as you do for the Drupal community, but even the little bit that I do can become overwhelming. Most of us can only imagine it from your perspective.
Recharge and i'll be ready to read when you're ready to write/type.

Thank you very much
have a good break
That post was almost 2 weeks ago. I never did take a break... Just slowed down even more on support on this site while I worked more on the modules. I am going out of town for a few days, though, so I'll be without internet until Monday.

Michelle YOU ROCK!
Thanks for all the time you put in to the community and helping us all build better Drupal sites!
Cheers!

Thanks. Funny... 6 months later and I still haven't taken that break. Just too much to do.
