AdvForum working as OG Forum?...

Hi Michelle,

I had already seen your task list for the advanced forum working with OG Forum... But I was needing to decide a way to go now.

Just to clarify, I had installed none of them yet, I'm still studying and reading bugs reports, descriptions, README files, testing your (very nice) module here in socnet, and so on to decide...

So, do you think it's possible that AdvForum can work like OG Forum right now? I mean, what I basically need is to create forums separated for each OG. It doesn't need to be necessary created automatically by the OG owner command, he/she could asks to the administrator to create it and associate to the respective OG. In the other way, it needs to be automatically the OG owner gives moderations powers to a user he/she trusts.

Do you see any workaround it could be done for working like that? Could be other modules to join in, or some glue code, or, if you can give me a guideline to where I can point direct in the code immediately to try to work about the integration (if you already had studied the OG Forum code), it could be nice too.

Ah, I had worked a little in AdvProfile and could make it working with User_Relationships. Not a full working (because mainly of relatioship deletion - it's deleting just the first one relationship it can finds, while UR can support multiple relationships between same users - and the block of buddies, that I hadn't touched in since UR gives us some ready blocks and a possibility to create nice views of relationships), but for me that was the point I needed. If you'd like to receive this patch anyway, let me know.
