I used the tutorial with a few tweaks to build this Reunion site for past and present Disney Cast Members. http://afterthemouse.com/user/18 [the Css still needs a few tweaks] have a look and any feedback would be appreciated! Tim

Nice

I really like it, especially the thought bubble style. You might want to get rid of the node title since it links to the nodeprofile.

Good job,

Thanks Michelle

"You might want to get rid of the node title since it links to the nodeprofile"

or even better i would prefer to get rid of the top (non hyperlinked) "page?" title with the user name...

What's the best way to do that Michelle?

Page template

That's coming from page.tpl.php. So you can either make a separate one without the title or put an if test around it to check if you're on the user page and not print it in that case.

User listing

In the user listing, how do you get a search box for 'First name' and 'Family name'?

One more question about the user listing:
Does anyone know if it is possible to have filters shown on 2 rows? Let's say if you have 10 filters they wont fit all on one row. How would you do to get it like this:

Filter#1 Filter#2 Filter#3 Filter#4 Filter#5
Filter#6 Filter#7 Filter#8 Filter#9 Filter#10

Thanks!

sorry if my question was obvious.....
but how do you get it as a search box? I guess that the 'First name' and 'Family name' are fields in uprofile.

Thanks!

Added Drop shadows to user images

Not too much of a change but it seems to make the images "pop" so it might be worth looking at?

http://afterthemouse.com/user/18 see what you think... if you want i'll post the CSS and the tpl.php tweaks too.

Nice story

I actually have the CSS in use here: http://couleeregiononline.com/gallery but never thought of using it for that photo. Why don't you go ahead and post it? Make a new post, though, in the tips and tricks forum so people can see it.

I read your story and it's really interesting. I never really thought about the people that work at the theme parks. It's been so long since I've been to one. I was at D.W. in 1980 and D.L. a couple times in the late '80s. Just a teenager then and never gave the employees any thought. I'll be visiting your site as it grows to read the stories. Very interesting.
