Limiting "Topics i partisipated in" list

is there an easy way to limit the number of topics listed in the list to say the six most recent?

Change the view

I'm assuming you mean in advanced profile? It's just a view. You can edit it to whatever you like. Just go into panels -> views and edit that view pane and change the number.
